About My Products
Do you make everything yourself?
At present, everything you can purchase from The Inner Hearth is handcrafted by me — except for wax warmers and bath bombs, which are sourced. Every soap, body butter, perfume oil, wax melt, and room spray is made and packaged personally.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Most of my products are vegan and never tested on animals.
Please note that my lip balms contain beeswax.
Are your products gentle or suitable for sensitive skin?
Most products are formulated to be gentle, but if you have specific sensitivities, please check ingredients or get in touch before purchasing.
Where do you make your products?
All items are made in my dedicated workspace in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom.
Are your products safe and professionally made?
Yes — all products are made in line with UK and EU safety and hygiene regulations. Skincare products are CPSR-compliant (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) and tested for safety. Every product is crafted following good manufacturing practices to ensure quality, consistency, and safety.
Do your products list all ingredients and allergens?
Yes — every product includes a full ingredient list, along with any relevant allergen information, both on the label and online.
How should I store my products?
Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain quality and fragrance.
How long will my products last?
Shelf life varies: wax melts typically last 12–24 months unopened; skincare products are best used within 6–12 months of opening. Each product includes best-before information where relevant.
Are your products environmentally friendly?
Yes — I prioritise eco-conscious packaging and sustainably sourced ingredients wherever possible. Glass jars, tins, and card packaging can be recycled, and I minimise plastic use wherever I can.

Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders placed Monday to Friday are usually processed and dispatched within 3–5 business days.
Weekend or public holiday orders are processed the next business day.
Delivery within the UK typically takes 2–3 working days after dispatch via Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes — for selected Oxfordshire postcodes (OX11, OX13, OX14).
Local deliveries are grouped on set days to reduce travel and environmental impact.
Minimum spend £10, fee £3.50.
Can I change my delivery address?
Please make sure your address is correct at checkout. I’m unable to amend addresses after an order is placed.
Additional postage costs may apply if an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
How can I track my order?
You’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link once your order is dispatched.
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Can I return or exchange an item?
You have 14 days to cancel your order under UK consumer law. Returns must be unused, in the same condition, with labels intact and in the original packaging.
Personal care and cosmetic products are only returnable if damaged, faulty, incorrect, or if you experience a genuine unexpected allergic reaction.
Who pays for return postage?
For change-of-mind returns, customers cover postage. If the item is faulty, damaged, or sent incorrectly, I will cover or reimburse return postage.
How long do refunds take?
Once a return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
What about exchanges?
To exchange an item, return it following the steps above, then place a new order for your preferred item.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact me as soon as possible at hello@theinnerhearth.co.uk — I’ll make sure it’s resolved promptly, and return postage will be covered.
